Welcome to Through the Rainbow

A friend once told me she believes in a braided path to God.  This portrayal aptly describes the colorful diversity of beliefs we see at play in churches, synagogues, cathedrals, temples, forests, desserts and even small homes where two or more gather to worship the Power that guides us all.  However we choose our way, we all want to know God.

Spiritual paths show that God wants us to know ourselves so we can authentically connect to Him/Her.  Through their teachings we move from ego to the God Self, the inner Light.  That Light illuminates those places that allow us to rise above our limitations to realization of Oneness. We learn to heal ourselves of limiting mindsets and habits that keep us from being the fully actualized human that God knows us to be.  This is a pilgrimage of Self (the self of the soul).  Magically, we recognize that our unique experiences have made us the beautiful person we are.

I teach an eclectic brand of spiritual practice.  My deepest experiences are based in the ancient Sanskrit teachings of the chakras.  I have taught chakras since 1996, and I still wonder at the wisdom that comes from delving into what these energy centers reveal to us.  From the grounding influence of the goddess to the freedom found in the Christ, chakras take us on a journey to joy.

To add color to the journey, I factor in a myriad of spiritual principles that give texture and depth to the chakra teachings.  Among other approaches, I draw on Celtic and native rituals of honoring nature as an equal partner on God’s earth and the Buddhist and Christian principles of love and compassion. Combined, these and other approaches bring mystical wisdom through intimacy with our Higher Power.

The chakra studies begins with an exploration of the beauty of nature, helps you rise into sunlit fields of the I Am, and pushes you upward into the cooling forests that open your heart.  From there, the clear blue skies and the indigo of dusk fill you with awareness, openness and joyful union within, with others and with God.

Now THAT’S frolicking on God’s earth!  Join me!  Whether you are interested in a face-to-face class, or an online meeting, I think you will find the journey satisfying and important.
